“My Refund Story” Contest in a Surprise Visit on Valentine’s Day
Company Doubles Their Tax Refund on Valentines Day   

 

(Virginia Beach, VA)  Liberty Tax Service is proud to announce that the first recipients of the “My Refund Story/Double My Refund Contest,” are in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Early on Valentine’s Day, Miss Lady Liberty, Brittney Wojtaszek surprised the couple to officially present the check. A professional film crew accompanied Miss Lady Liberty to record the story and share it on the My Refund Story/Double My Refund website:   www.myrefundstory.com.

About the Family  

The winning family submitted separate entries to the contest. The couple was married in 2006, and discovered in 2007 that they were unable to have children. Felicia’s request was to double the tax refund and add the money to their “baby fund” to help pay costs for adopting a child.

Eric has served two tours of duty in Iraq, and is currently stationed at Fort Carson.  Due to military deployments, Eric and Felicia have only been able to be together on one Valentine’s Day in six years. Liberty Tax added more to this couple’s Valentine’s Day by surprising them at their home on Valentine’s Day morning and doubling their federal tax refund.
