Liberty Tax Has Doubled Tax Refund for Virginia Beach Woman

(Virginia Beach, VA)  Tough times have affected the life of Debbie Wiercincki, but she’s determined to keep a roof over her head and her young daughter’s regardless. She posted her entry online for Liberty Tax’s “My Refund Story/Double My Refund Contest,” and said she’d use the extra money to get an apartment, and out of a temporary motel living situation as the rent is increasing. She’d also like to buy a car.  Wiercincki is the latest “My Refund Story” contest winner. Miss Liberty Tax, Brittney Wojtaszek officially presented a check to Debbie Wiercinski during a surprise visit Friday, April 13.   A professional film crew accompanied Miss Liberty Tax to record the story and share it on the “My Refund Story/Double My Refund” website: www.myrefundstory.com.

Wiercinski is a single parent, living paycheck to paycheck with a job at a local dry cleaners.  She was also recently featured in the Virginian-Pilot.
