I am the franchise owner of the Liberty Tax in Dedham, MA. My story is regarding my wavers. I have changed the lives of some very special people by giving them the opportunity to work. In turn, they have changed my life. I merely am giving them the chance they deserve, to work and be part of something. The Neponset River House is a service of Riverside Community Care, a non-profit organization

Karen Tolley is no stranger to helping the community of Dorchester County, part of the Eastern Shore, where she was born and raised. After graduating locally, she was asked to be Treasurer of her small township nineteen (19) years ago. That started a sincere interest in creating and passing policy for sound government.

As a tax preparer and being with the public has always been a pleasure for me. I take pride in helping clients with whatever issues dealing with their taxes that may come up. I have had my own business for 20 years and for the last two seasons I have been a part of the Liberty family. I am the kind of person that will fight for my clients, help them get the best return that I can get them.

Our story began several years ago when Danny was diagnosed with Renal Failure. Over each passing year, his kidney functions have decreased to the point where he is currently at 13% function which means a kidney transplant is required within the next year or so.

“Where there is unity there is always victory.” On January 23, 2014 there was an unfortunate tragedy where a fire destroyed an apartment complex where one of Liberty team members Kris lived. Thankfully, his apartment was saved and no one was injured but the fire did destroy many personal belongings and displaced six families who lived there.

Liberty Tax and the Olympics? Our Liberty Tax business created an incredible platform for us to raise our family. We have 4 children, and they have all seen what it takes to build a business—risk, drive, creativity, hard work , and perseverance. They have all helped—they have participated in parades, cleaned the office, worked the festivals and helped with maintenance projects. They have seen

Fire Destroyed the Materials….but not her heart!!!! In the afternoon of March 10, 2014, a fire broke out at the dry cleaners right next to the Liberty Tax in Stephens City, VA. The blaze caused extensive damage to Festival Cleaners and smoke damage to Liberty Tax. The entire strip mall was evacuated and most of the employees went home, traumatized.

I first met Sandy from Liberty Tax in Casper Wyoming when I needed my taxes done after I purchased my first house. I’d had my taxes done at H&R Block and Jackson Hewitt before but never had a sense that I was anything more than just a costumer and therefore never felt a strong connection to either facility.

The BEST Free Return! Last week a woman came in to do her tax return for 2012 and 2013. She told our preparer that she still owed the IRS $711 for 2011. She had not done her 2012 return because she was afraid she would owe and she just could not deal with it. She also told our preparer that her daughter and son-in-law had moved in with them over a year ago and her husband was quite ill and had not worked much.
