Fanatical at Liberty

Category: changing lives

As a tax preparer and being with the public has always been a pleasure for me. I take pride in helping clients with whatever issues dealing with their taxes that may come up. I have had my own business for 20 years and for the last two seasons I have been a part of the Liberty family. I am the kind of person that will fight for my clients, help them get the best return that I can get them.

Hello, my name is Shawn Vadnais. I am 43, the single mother of a 21 year old son and I live in Portsmouth, Virginia. My life changed for the better when I became an employee of Liberty Tax Service. My story begins one January afternoon with my mother driving down Indian River Road in Virginia Beach, VA. She spotted a sign that read “Free Tax School, inquire inside!”

I really enjoyed working for Liberty Tax Service because I was able to dance for so many people and I love to dance!!! It has inspired me to pursue my dreams of opening my own dance studio "Unheard Movement" for the people with Disabilities!!! Thank you Liberty Tax Service for helping me realize my dreams!!!

Everyday I would see this guy dancing practically in the middle of the road. He would be out dancing no matter the condition rain or snow. I was interested to know why he danced and who he was as a person. It turned out I knew the guy. I did not really recognize him because he had lost a lot of weight from his dancing.

#1 It’s amazing how the casual observance of such a simple number can have an unexpected and continued impact on your life. In one of my first meetings with John Hewitt, we were discussing our shared love of card playing. I’m not sure who challenged whom, but it wasn’t long before we were engaged in a heated game of Spades.

Our story began several years ago when Danny was diagnosed with Renal Failure. Over each passing year, his kidney functions have decreased to the point where he is currently at 13% function which means a kidney transplant is required within the next year or so.

In 2011 I was a waver, now I am a preparer on my second year. Having this job has given me the time that I wanted with my son. I work for liberty from Jain till April which is perfect cause my son is in school during these months and I am off for the summer so that we can do things as a family.

Either what I read in periodicals functions as topical information or it guides you to accomplish an impossible task. When I was having coffee at Half-Price Books, I noticed a copy of AARP magazine on the table where I sat in my chair. I glanced thru the publication, noticing a sidebar titled "Additional Ways To Earn Income."

“Where there is unity there is always victory.” On January 23, 2014 there was an unfortunate tragedy where a fire destroyed an apartment complex where one of Liberty team members Kris lived. Thankfully, his apartment was saved and no one was injured but the fire did destroy many personal belongings and displaced six families who lived there.
