Fanatical at Liberty

Category: customer service

My Liberty tax story goes back several years now. I was posted in Guyana (the former British Guiana) between 2008 and 2012. Fortunately, I used to visit Southwest Florida during that time (I had previously lived there). I discovered Liberty Tax and, most importantly, I discovered Miles Ianaconi in the Naples office.

Second year in a row having my taxes prepared by Mr.Miles Lanacone at Liberty Tax. Miles exhibits thee highest level of integrity and professionalism, exceeding my expectations. I've had my taxes prepared by H&R Block for many years, and often leaving feeling unsatisfied, but being a creature of habit kept returning. Decided last year to give Liberty Tax a try and am happy I did.

The whole uplifting experience begins with the team of wavers. Their friendly waves and smiles, teamed with their brilliant costumes, almost carry you into another world and away from one that can seem cold and distant at times. The dazzling performance is far from over though.

Well I used to have an accountant that worked for a big firm. He used to do my parents taxes so I trusted him and really thought he had my best interests in mind. The last year he did my taxes he charged me almost $400.00 and I was stunned. My taxes were not complicated the only change I was newly divorced. No personal care or concern. Well I couldn't afford to go back there.

Just before retirement, I accidentally found an offer from Liberty tax to do my taxes for free. That's right, FREE. Well mom didn't raise no fool so, I decided to give them a try. The franchise I went to was a newer franchise that was very friendly / family type operation and I was welcomed as if I was part of the family. The first year as advertised was free.

We started going to Liberty after another place messed up our taxes and it took us over 6 months to get our refund! We go to the same guy every year and he always remembers us. He always makes sure we are getting as much refunded as possible. he is great to talk to and the $50 makes my kids happy because then we buy pizza!!

Liberty Tax was an amazing help when tax season came around. It was my first year having to get my taxes done on my own. Unfortunately, I was having problems obtaining my W-2 forms from my employers and because one of my employers never sent me a W-2 i could not get my taxes done. One day I finally decided I would just go to the local liberty tax and see if they could help me.

After a horrible experience last year doing our taxes with another tax prep because we waiting almost 5 months to get our refunds due to poor preparations and had to go congressional because Liberty Tax said that would be the only way we can get to the bottom of why our refunds haven't been received yet, my husband and I decided to try Liberty Tax.

The BEST Free Return! Last week a woman came in to do her tax return for 2012 and 2013. She told our preparer that she still owed the IRS $711 for 2011. She had not done her 2012 return because she was afraid she would owe and she just could not deal with it. She also told our preparer that her daughter and son-in-law had moved in with them over a year ago and her husband was quite ill and had not worked much.

Last year I tried to file for my taxes myself. The process was painful and confusing and I somehow ended up paying more taxes. This year I let the team at Liberty file my taxes. Not only was the process painless but it was very easy and took less time than I imagined. What's more I received money back this year! The team at Liberty were fantastic and very friendly.
