This year, our offices will be able to commence preparing 2012 federal filing on Thursday Jan 3rd. The IRS will accept e-filings commencing Tuesday Jan 30th. The IRS intends to process e-filed returns within 21 days of return acceptance. The IRS's processing plans coupled with the ''Fiscal Cliff'' means that taxpayers can expect delays in receiving their refunds. We will be providing specific services to assist our clients through the process.
