Paper Filing 

Return done as a standard paper return and must be mailed by you to the IRS. Tax preparation fee due at the end of the interview. Refund check arrives from IRS in approximately  4-6 weeks.  

Electronic Filing (E-File) 

Electonically file return to IRS with your refund sent to you via check or directly deposited to your bank account or on a prepaid debit card by the IRS in approximately 21 days. Tax preparation fee due at the end of the interview. 

Electronic Refund Check or Deposit (ERC or ERD)  

Electronic Refund Check typically available in 21 days of electronic filing of a tax return. You can pick up your refund check or have your refund deposited into your bank account or on a prepaid debit card.
