    This four-hour course examines basic issues related to Clients with Children with focus on exceptions to the general rules and how children affect a tax return.

    This four-hour course examines issues related to preparation of Schedule C, Profit or Loss From Business, and Schedule E, Supplemental Income and Loss. Subject matter includes sole proprietorships, self-employment tax, and rental of real estate, depreciation, and farmers.   

    The printed Study Guide is organized by learning objectives, with practical application of tax rules illustrated through use of examples and court case summaries. A Self-Quiz at the end of each chapter helps the participant evaluate his or her progress.  

    This course qualifies for four (4) continuing education credit hours for Enrolled Agents.

    Sch C from A to Z 

    This course will cover how to prepare a Schedule C, giving a preparer an understanding of the different types of Income and Expenses, including cost of goods sold, vehicle expenses and business use of home, plus the tax laws applicable to small businesses.  

    This course qualifies for nine (9) federal tax law continuing education credit hours for Enrolled Agents and preparers needing CE credits.  

    There is a cost of $219.00 for this course which covers the book needed for the live class and access to the recordings.  

    The live webinar will be on Monday thru Wednesday 10/7 thru 10/9 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm eastern time and gives you access to a live instructor with the ability to ask questions during the webinar.  You also get the Course book and access to the recorded webinar if you need to review the material later and the cost is $219.00.  During the webinar you will answer poll questions to earn your CE credits.  

    If you cannot attend the live event, the recorded webinars will be available the day after the live event and gives you access to the recording of the live webinar and the Study Guide and the cost is $219.00.  You can e-mail questions and you will need to pass the online exam to earn the CE credits. 

     The recorded webinars will be available to watch until 12/31/13.

    Business Taxes

    The 2013 Business Tax Course starts on August 19th  with Preparing C Corps.  Classes will be held from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm eastern time.  Each session will be recorded and available for replay until 6/30/14.  Continuing Education Credits are available. 

    The Business Tax course is divided into three sections and will cover: 

                Preparing C Corps 

                Preparing S Corps 

                Preparing Partnerships 

    Preparing C Corps – Classes will be on 8/19, 8/20 and 8/21 from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm eastern time.  This section qualifies for up to 9 Continuing education credits.  If you watch the events live, you will need to answer a polling question each hour to earn the credits.  If you watch the replays, you will have to pass a test to earn the credits. 

    Preparing S Corps – Classes will be on 8/26, 8/27 and 8/28 from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm eastern time.   This section qualifies for up to 9 Continuing education credits.  If you watch the events live, you will need to answer a polling question each hour to earn the credits.  If you watch the replays, you will have to pass a test to earn the credits. 

    Preparing Partnerships – Classes will be on 9/3, 9/4 and 9/5 from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm eastern time. This section qualifies for up to 9 Continuing education credits.  If you watch the events live, you will need to answer a polling question each hour to earn the credits.  If you watch the replays, you will have to pass a test to earn the credits. 

    The cost for the course is $299.00.  This course qualifies for up to 27 Continuing education credits for all three sections.  If you watch the events live, you will need to answer a polling question each hour to earn the credits.  If you watch the replays, you will have to pass a test to earn the credits.

    Estates, Trusts and Gifts

    This webinar will cover a basic understanding of estate, gift and fiduciary income taxes. Tax Professionals will learn about trusts, their filing requirements and how to complete an income tax return for a trust or decedent’s estate. Also covered are how to prepare a decedent’s final Form 1040 and the rules covering estates. 

    By the end of the course students will know how to prepare:

    Form 709, Gift Tax Returns. 

    Final Form 1040.

    Form 1041 return for an estate or trust. 

    Schedule K-1 for an estate or trust. 

    The Online Estates, Trust & Gift Tax course starts July 22 and continues until July 31.  The course will be held on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm Eastern time.  Each session will be recorded and available for replay until 6/30/14. 

    There is a cost of $299.00 for this course which covers the books needed, the Live classes and access to the recordings.  This can either be to a Credit Card.  

    There are 18 Federal CE Credits available for this course.  Make sure you add your PTIN to the registration form if you want CE Credits for attending.
