    Sch C from A to Z 

    The 2014 Schedule C “From A to Z” course starts on July 21st.  Classes will be held from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm eastern time.  Each session will be recorded and available for replay until 6/30/15.  Continuing Education Credits are available.

    This course will cover how to prepare a Schedule C, giving a preparer an understanding of the different types of Income and Expenses, including cost of goods sold, vehicle expenses and business use of home, plus the tax laws applicable to small businesses.   

    By the end of the course students will know how to prepare: 

                Schedule C, Profit or Loss From Business.

                Form 4562, Depreciation and Amortization.

                Form 8829, Expenses for Business Use of Your Home.

                Schedule SE, Self-Employment Tax.

    The live webinar will be on Monday thru Thursday 7/21 thru 7/24 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm eastern time and gives you access to a live instructor with the ability to ask questions during the webinar.    

    If you cannot attend the live event, the recorded webinars will be available the day after the live event.    

    The cost for the course is $199.00 This course qualifies for up to 12 Continuing education credits.  If you watch the events live, you will need to answer a polling question each hour to earn the credits.  If you watch the replays, you will have to pass a test to earn the credits.

    Business Taxes

    This webinar will give Tax Professionals an understanding of the different types of Business Entities and learn to prepare business tax returns for C Corporations, S Corporations, Partnerships and Limited Liability Companies.

    The 2014 Business Tax Course starts on August 12th with Preparing C Corps.  Classes will be held from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm eastern time.  Each session will be recorded and available for replay until 6/30/15.  Continuing Education Credits are available.

    The Business Tax course will cover: 

                Preparing C Corps - Form 1120 and Schedules L, M-1 and M-2.

                Preparing S Corps - Form 1120S and Schedules L, M-1 and M-2.

                Preparing Partnerships - Form 1065 and Schedules K, K-1, L, M-1, M-2 and M-3.   

    Preparing C Corps – Classes will be on 8/12, 8/13 and 8/14 from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm eastern time.  This section qualifies for up to 9 Continuing education credits.  If you watch the events live, you will need to answer a polling question each hour to earn the credits.  If you watch the replays, you will have to pass a test to earn the credits.   

    Preparing S Corps – Classes will be on 8/18, 8/19 and 8/20 from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm eastern time.  This section qualifies for up to 9 Continuing education credits.  If you watch the events live, you will need to answer a polling question each hour to earn the credits.  If you watch the replays, you will have to pass a test to earn the credits.   

    Preparing Partnerships – Classes will be on 8/25, 8/26 and 8/27 from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm eastern time. This section qualifies for up to 9 Continuing education credits.  If you watch the events live, you will need to answer a polling question each hour to earn the credits.  If you watch the replays, you will have to pass a test to earn the credits.

    The cost is $299.00.  This course qualifies for up to 27 Continuing education credits.  If you watch the events live, you will need to answer a polling question each hour to earn the credits.  If you watch the replays, you will have to pass a test to earn the credits.

    Estates, Trusts and Gifts

    This webinar will cover a basic understanding of estate, gift and fiduciary income taxes. Tax Professionals will learn about trusts, their filing requirements and how to complete an income tax return for a trust or decedent’s estate. Also covered are how to prepare a decedent’s final Form 1040 and the rules covering estates.

    By the end of the course students will know how to prepare:

                Form 709, Gift Tax Returns. 

                Final Form 1040.

                Form 1041 return for an estate or trust. 

                Schedule K-1 for an estate or trust. 

    The Online Estates, Trust & Gift Tax classes will be on 7/28, 7/29, 7/30 & 7/31 from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm Eastern time.  Each session will be recorded and available for replay until 6/30/15.
