You’ve done it again! You did it in college. You probably made your mother miss her due
date and people tell you all the time that you “will be late to your own
funeral!”
You procrastinated and put off your
taxes until the last minute! Don’t
worry, I do it every year. I’m a tax
professional and love the pressure!
So, with so little time, what can and
should you do?
Well, first off, understand that this
year you have two extra days due to the 15th falling on Sunday.
However, you don’t want to wait until
late on the 17th as nearly 30 percent of taxpayers wait until the
week before taxes are due to file.
However, at Liberty Tax, because you have so many locations to choose
from, we won’t have a wait! We can call
that the “Dave Rocci Guarantee!”
Most people choose to wait because
they would rather keep their money than give the government its money. A little interest in your bank accounts is
better than no interest, right?
In case you are waiting because you
are not sure what you will need, make sure you check out our handy
tax checklist.
Even though you may have all your tax
items ready it is important that you make it in to the office soon. The price of missing the deadline can be
pricey. You may need to file an
extension if time management isn’t on your side!
We will see you soon at Liberty Tax!
Come on in and while we complete your return…without procrastination!
