Wisconsin Income Tax Forms Rates & Services

A Wisconsin income tax credit is available for specific types of rehabilitation work, but you are required to contact the Wisconsin Historical Society to obtain an application form for your project. You must file the form with, and receive approval from, the Wisconsin Historical Society before you begin the physical work on the project. The eligible work done over a 2-year period after receiving approval will qualify for the credit, subject to specific cost limitations. Visit their web site at Wisconsin Historical Society.

The Wisconsin Dairy and Livestock Farm Investment Credit is a nonrefundable credit equal to 10% of the amount paid in the taxable year for livestock farm modernization or expansion related to the operation of the taxpayer’s livestock farm. The credit must be claimed on Wisconsin taxes within four years of the un-extended due date of the tax return.
