I started with Liberty in January 2015 and have truly enjoyed the atmosphere created by management, employees and the culture committee.
One of the reason's I chose to pursue the opportunity with Liberty was because of their willingness to accommodate my desired work schedule around my commitment to the community. Liberty provides a great work/life balance and I have been very appreciative of this company in the short time I've been here.

I am a Human Rights Activist that runs a mentoring program in Virginia Beach Public Schools for the past 3 years. Our organization is, Uplifting Humanity with Youth In Mind, dba as "Men of Distinction". We work primarily with elementary age children focusing on social development and reducing the achievement gap in Public Schools. We currently have 25 4th and 5th grade boys we mentor after school weekly and we took 3 of our boys to the State Capital to visit the House of Delegates, where we were introduced on the Senate floor as we watched them pass a bill; then we took them to D.C. to visit the Smithsonian, The MLK Memorial, and the House of Representatives where we met with Congressman Rigell on 2/24/2015. We partnered with the "Men of Faith" organization for this trip where we took 32 young men from VB Public Schools (Three 5th grade boys from our organization), for the purpose of introducing these young men to the processes of local government and the creation process of laws. I have also established a partnership with the VB Police Department, where they send officers out weekly to mentor with our youth. This is a great way to establish a positive relationship and interactions between law enforcements and the communities they serve. There are multiple pictures on our FB page https://www.facebook.com/BreakingBarriersDefyingOdds or on Congressman Rigell's Official Page at https://www.facebook.com/RepScottRigell?ref=br_tf
and even my Personal Page, at Kenick El. These pictures display the positive interaction between the local police, community volunteers, business men, and their Congressman taking place in our community.
