Do you love working outside of the office? Are you a strong and influential communicator? Do you love taxes? If so, Liberty Tax Service's outside sales team is looking for an ambitious seasonal part-time (no more than 30 hours weekly) Virtual Tax Preparer and Outside Sales Associate, for exclusive territories to drive sales of its tax preparation services, as well as using Link by Liberty Tax to prepare taxes and help customers with all their tax needs. This job is a 100% commission-paid seasonal position.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Liberty Tax Service is looking for individuals with experience in sales and preparing individual tax returns. You will be assigned an exclusive sales territory as a Virtual Tax Preparer and Outside Sales Associate. Your work will focus on tax customers in this territory by spending at least 51% of your time offering best-in-class tax preparation services through community engagement and other in-person solicitations of new prospective customers. This is an excellent opportunity for tax preparers with an established clientele base who can market outside the office to bring on new clients. We offer national branding and marketing support/training that you can leverage to grow your territory and customer base. We also have higher commission splits than most companies.

MUST have tax preparation experience (at least three years) and a PTIN number and appropriate state licensing where required.

ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS

•     Must have PTIN and minimum of 3 years’ experience  

•     Spend at minimum 51% of work time outside the office to acquire new customers 

•     Preparation of Personal and/or Business Income Taxes

•     Manage overall tax preparation workflow to ensure timelines are met and the highest degree of customer service is provided

•     Attend and successfully complete training programs

•     Perform other duties as requested by supervisor
